A very scary thing just happened though for full disclosure I made it happen. ChatGPT’s new Work feature (this is really gonna date this post fast 😂) was tasked by me to improve the movie design poster for the Twilight Ballrooms. Not reinvent it, but improve the quality, colour grading, contrast etc… And to do this I had to give it permission to use Photoshop on my computer (yep the more I type the more I realise future generations are gonna say “so what grandad?”).

Now remote control or screen sharing of computers is nothing new. Quite often I will access other computers in my house and use the screen share to open various programs on them etc…. But for some reason letting AI take control required a leap of faith with overrides and permissions not only on my OS but in my head also.

Anyhow, here are the results. Slider to the right is my version, slider to the left is AI

If I’m honest the difference is miniscule. But then again the task was fairly simple too. And the AI version has gotten rid of a slight brownish tint and made the image a tiny bit crisper. Still it was creepy, maybe even creepier than Psycho The Clown? Nah!
